Processing of transport documents

One of the main parts of the workflow of the accounting clerk at Next Logistics Ltd. is the processing of transport documents. This process consists of several stages:

  • Receiving the documents – this is done via couriers, postal services, or by handing over the documents during business meetings.
  • Recording the received documents – entering the details of the received invoices, their date of receipt and payment, the condition of the received documents (whether all required documents have been received, whether all mandatory signatures and seals are present, etc.).
  • Filing the received documents – copies of all documents are made and stored in the company archive.
  • Compiling the documents – each of the company’s freight forwarders is responsible for compiling the documents of their own clients. Once the full set of documents has been collected, they are submitted to the accounting department for dispatch to the client.
  • Sending the documents to the client – the final stage of processing involves forwarding the documents to the client. This includes preparing a list of the dispatched documents, issuing consignment notes, and handing them over to the courier.
Whether you are a supplier or a client, at any time you can contact the accounting department of Next Logistics regarding received or sent transport documents, payment due dates, and any other questions related to the documentation of transactions with our company.
