Groupage shipments to Germany by van and heavy truck

Transit time

Next Logistic offers different types of groupage transport to Germany according to each client’s requirements.
These can be carried out with vans up to 3.5 tons or heavy-duty trucks up to 24 tons.

The advantages of groupage transport with vehicles up to 3.5 tons include:

Deliveries within 2–3 days

Loading at multiple addresses within the same day

Longer driving periods compared to heavy trucks

Deliveries are completed within the same week in which the loading takes place.

Shipments to less accessible final destinations also help to avoid queues at border checkpoints and eliminate restrictions on driving during peak days and hours.

Capacity

The more commonly used 3.5-ton vehicles are chosen by clients with small shipment volumes – from boxes up to 1–2 pallets, with a pallet weight not exceeding 200 kg. Pricing in this case is based on the weight of the pallet – the heavier it is, the higher the transport cost.

For vehicles up to 3.5 tons, road tolls fall into the light commercial vehicle category, which results in minimal expenses on European highways and secondary roads.

Grouping

The advantage of groupage with heavy-duty trucks (with a maximum payload of up to 24 tons) is that it is suitable for heavier shipments with a delivery period of 5 to 7 calendar days. An additional benefit of this type of loading is the option of top loading into the trailer, allowing for the maximum number of shippers. Pricing in this case is favorable for clients, since the larger shipment volume enables lower transport costs.

The main route from Bulgaria to Germany is as follows:
