Manager “Railway freight forwarding”
Next Logistic is a well-established Bulgarian company in the field of transport and logistics, with a wide network of Bulgarian and international partners. In connection with the expansion of our activities and the creation of a new business division, we are looking for a Rail Freight Manager, who will build and develop a rail transport department with a special focus on bulk cargo.
This is a key role for an experienced professional seeking the opportunity to establish a commercial team, develop a partner network, and position our company as a strong player in the rail freight sector.
Main responsibilities:
- Establishment and development of the Railway Forwarding Department
- Attracting customers for the transportation of bulk and other cargoes
- Organization of railway transport (import, export, transit)
- Negotiations with railway operators, ports, terminals and partners
- Control over contracts, conditions, deadlines and costs
- Creation and development of a sales team
- Development of new services and market solutions
Requirements:
- Experience in rail logistics, freight forwarding or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of the specifics of rail transport
- Skills for building commercial relationships
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Leadership potential and willingness to build a team
- Very good command of a foreign language (B2+/C1)
- Knowledge of working with transport documentation and regulations
