Air transport and forwarding manager
Next Logistic is a well-established Bulgarian company in the field of transport and logistics, with an extensive network of Bulgarian and international partners. As part of our expansion and the creation of a new business division, we are looking for an Air Freight and Forwarding Manager with an established network of clients and partners, as well as proven experience in organizing air freight operations.
This is a role for a professional who understands the specifics of air logistics, has solid commercial experience, knows how to build partnerships, and is eager to develop a new division within a growing company.
Main responsibilities:
- Creation and development of the Air Transport Department
- Attracting customers and developing a partner network
- Organization of import and export by air transport
- Negotiating with airlines, cargo agents and airport operators
- Control of contracts, transport costs and deadlines
- Building and leading a sales team
- Development of new services and logistics solutions
Requirements:
- Experience in air transport, air freight forwarding or a related field
- Knowledge of international aviation and logistics networks
- Excellent negotiation and partnership building skills
- Leadership qualities and willingness to build a team
- Very good command of a foreign language (B2+/C1)
- Knowledge of IATA regulations, transport documentation and customs processes
